Drilling the guide holes
Take the spoiler off & using a 3mm drill bit drill through the centre of the plastic markers to make a guide hole in the tailgate. Remove the plastic guides & fit either a 6mm or 6.5mm drill bit into your drill & open the guide holes. Drill as far as you can into the tailgate so that a hole appears inside the tailgate.
Fit the hole cutter or 20mm bit to your drill & open the holes out INSIDE the tailgate to enable the bolts to pass through.
