Hi all,
I am having problems with the electric steering on 2009 Punto.
It is occasionally not working, stop the car and fire it up again and its fine.
I have looked on here and fitted a new battery.
Alternator is working fine and charging to 14.2v
Car starts no bother every day

OK today I scanned it with MES and got;
C 1002-17 Steering column motor torque position sensor, Light on (it was not)
P 0621-94 Alternator D+ Signal intermittant
V 0405-08 Cruise control module signal intermittant
U 1726-87 Airbag Node (NAB) intermittant

What is an airbag node?
I have looked at loads of posts on here and cannot find a definitive answer, maybe alternator, powered steering motor or the column?
Any help where to start would be great
