Basically...

Carl is insured by Jeep for £2100 with a £200 excess or something along those lines.

They wont cover him to have alloys, bodywork or engine modifications on his car, but his GSR kit is declared.

:yeahthat:

More like... Carl is getting ripped and he can't do anything to his car unless it's purple lights or something

Stuff about insurance... and you're all whiney little boys:p

erm you havent been on here long enough to know why people are trying to rip me. most of its only joking etc now.

insurance goes up when you passyour test by the way ;)

You have a hangover at 5pm? Lightweight :p

nah more like ***** :p

you start drinking now and get a hangover in 2 days time then you know your doing it properly.

or maybe that's just me:D

I'm asking for tactics on my driving test

Turn up smart be polite use a few manors, Your attitude says a lot about you and how the instructor will react....

go in smart clothing that you are comfortable in and sensible shoes (sounds daft but one of my sisters mates went in silly shoes)

make sure you can open the bonnet of your Driving instructors car and make sure you know your way round the engine compartment... (oil, water, screen wash, et all)

remember to check your blind spots (up the inside after your emergency stop)

Ta mate - you sure you aren't my driving instructor lol?!:p
I already am polite and know all my manners! I can pretend to be proper posh too so that might help haha!

Yeah, my instructor told me last lesson.... I always wear my conked out old nike's - comfiest ever.

I check the blind spots even when my mum is driving!(y)

my policy stayed same when i passed...

just declared my induction kit on my policy today...

25 quids :D

When I told my insurance company about my mods they didnt care about the wheels or the induction kit, just the lowering springs cost me. What do you pay?

haha with swiftcover, declared everything and not charged a penny extra! £400 a year ftw! the only 'performance' (use that term lightly) mod i have on my car is the ol' K&N though. OEM FTW!

I pay 600 with admiral, but then 35 on top for lowering springs, and 25 for the GSR.

they are the standard FIAT skirts mate that came with the car! glad you like!

Honestly how do you rate the gsr?
Tomorrow im gonna move my k&n down to where the drivers side front fog light is and vent the cover that resides there, im gonna use a mix of hoses and some rigid pipeing. cant afford a gsr..
