But that's Carl, stupid boy! lol

says someone with aircooled in there name. there is a reason you see vw campers that convoy to newquay broken down in convys at the side of the m5;)

theyre not that bad rreally

I honestly think Carl is being bummed... Carl, who do you insure with?

jeep but they are underwritten by Norwhich Union

one advantage is everytime my ma has phoned to declare something (she wanted to declare ff stickers ) they basically said we dont care as long as its not bodywork, wheels or severe engine work.

yeah insurance is a pain in the arse but it's always best to be on the safe side tbh (y) especially when you're a young driver and they want to do their best to get out of paying for your mistakes (here's to hoping you never make any! :slayer:)

Apparently though not only do you have to declare when you put stuff on the car but you also have to declare when it comes off as well...got to declare my dewiper

Thats the whole fun about owning a VW that is aircooled... tax exempt, cost me around £100 to insure, and cheap to run... (y)

Jeep, underwritten by Norwich Union, underwritten by Aviva. This is probably why your getting a stupid price. Severe engine work, os have you declared your induction kit, if so thats probably why you have a stupid price too.

maybe, i should of listened to rolf but 4 years ago i wasnt even on the forum.

and to pay a year now what i pay with my insurers with 2 crashes to my name i dont think i'm been ripped off at all.. £900 a year.

all insurers quote differently anyway, depending on the car etc.

emily, i would advise you to shop around and play the insurers so if you get a quote of 1015 from one insurer go to another and see if they can beat it.

have the money in your pocket for beer money, not in the insurers!
(y)

Did you have a history exam by any chance?

Nope, it was a subject called World Development - a better version of Geography. I'm gona be the next Bob Geldof or some such. ;) (and don't say "you can't want to save the world by driving a car" - I've heard it so many times:bang:)

RyNO! (sorry.. when I read your name I seem to think it needs to be shouted) Yeah i will, although all the quotes I put in, the best ones are always by Egg!

I heard that Quinn are pants - they send people to your house within hours of making a claim (especially after an accident) so that you can get compensation - but they leave out the legal advice and support. Plus you're still gonna be shaken up no matter what a couple of hours later. Deffo not going with them(y)

my induction is declared at no additional charge. i did enquire as to what they meant and they said chipping, NOS, cams etc

Haha yeah, I think at this rate I'll be relying on it being a bloke tbh!:bang:

Um, I would - but tbh I have no idea what they're on about.. insurance and declaring stuff lol(y)

Basically...

Carl is insured by Jeep for £2100 with a £300 excess or something along those lines.

They wont cover him to have alloys or engine modifications on his car, but his GSR kit is declared.

Emily is hoping she gets a male instructor so she can accidently miss the handbrake and feel his inside leg... or maybe thats just me imagining the last bit ;)

Lee is giving advice on insurance...

You've got a migraine, I've got a hangover. Thats about it

More like... Carl is getting ripped and he can't do anything to his car unless it's purple lights or something

I'm asking for tactics on my driving test and being made to look like a bit of a sl** in the process;)

Stuff about insurance... and you're all whiney little boys:p
