Re: Starting to panic now!

4000 for your passion is not bad, although you didnt say what milage you had.
My wife got 3450 for a 4 yr old Pure with approx 16K on the clock against a new Pulse.

However I would say that I put her car on autotrader and could have got the asking price of 4200, as we had 1 call per day asking once it hit the paper.

Dont Panic !!! If you want better money to go against new car, attempt private sale 1st.

I will be selling my car private and use the cash to my new 500.

Re: Starting to panic now!

We ended up getting 4250 for it part ex which was a great deal it has got 7600 miles on it i know it's not many but I will use the 500 to go and play football twice a week so it will get more use, I have not felt this excited about Linda getting a new car before, i can't wait, we ordered it a week ago and haven't heard anything from the dealer but i suppose it's too early for them to know anything yet

Also we can keep the car and just swap it for the 500 rather than trying to tie it in with the new one if we go private. Now the other problem is going into the world of Fiat and italian cars which i said i would never ever do because of their mechanical/electrical problems and also quality issues, I know this car is different but i am still getting jittery it's just my luck for Linda to get one and it lets us down all the time, i know, I know i am being a bit daft, just can't help it she hasn't seen one yet so i will take her at the weekend i know she will love it as I certainly do,
I got this message from my mate Con about the service he got from the largest Audi Dealer in Ireland over his order of a new A5 coupe... We where to have a met up to show off our new cars and I asked him when I was going to see his 'old mans car' lol!

Quote Quote:
oh you havent heard the story then. In short i had the A3 serviced as warning lights came up in dashboard, should have left it, but was told it would cost 310 for the service, told then to do what needed to be done, collected the car, bill was 779. I lost it in the showroom, told then I wasnt going to take the A5, phoned a dealer in Glasgow, but they couldnt pick up the order until Agnews dropped it. They called me back to say they would give me my first service on the A5 free. Went down to showroom as they wanted me to sign something, showroom manager remaked that he knew I would be back. i through you dickheads and walked out, that was two weeks ago, car is meant to be ready in two weeks time. Im too headstrong and fecked that they done all the extra work on the A3 when i was getting rid of it. it can be seen as my fault as I said " do what needs to be done", but still i didnt mean a bill of 779

Now looking at volvo C30, S40, C70, dont know what else to look. at
Just goes to show you that spending 30k on something at a premium dealer don't get you much in the way of premium service

Remember this the next time someone tells you Fiat Dealers treat you like crap.
