yet another photoshop request

can anyone do a photoshop of GTE vents on the cinq?dont know where i would put them as it more for function. where i thought they would go is kind of over the ECU

had a thunk and thought i could do a manta stylee venting at the front of my bonnet just behind the front crossmember.plus theres no real electricals undcer that bit

well thats my thinking,couldnt find any scoops that felt 'fitted in' with the cinq.plus most are to wide for the ickle cinq bonnet IMO.
think the manta type cut outs will work too

i think the manta vents may be a little too much

maybe if you mounted the Astra vents the other way round, therefore getting air INTO the engine bay, rather than removing it :chin:

wouldnt be the same size as the manta. basically thinking i can get those vents almost right above the turbo,maybe even just a plain slot type afair but the heat it would vent would be great

Using the Astra vents as they are allows air being pushed in escape form the vents which aids cooling also.

i think if you turned them the other way it could actually cause a reverse effect of preventing a flow through cooling. not good

If its purely cooling u want, why not try the solution below?

U may want to get a new bonnet to try it out on tho... (not sure where structural parts are...)

well where you put them it would just be a little forward of there. cant go too far forward due to the front crossmember. had thought of a new mini cooper style scoop on the front but the benefit of the manta style venting is even when you park the heat can rise out quickly.
do like the GTE vents,and i'll have a thunk on the other venting options

oh yeah and the turbo is wedged(literally)at the front of the engine pretty much below the point the bonnet curves down
