worst crash?

Whats the worst crash youve ever been involved in?

type of car, how it was caused, injuries...pics if you have them?
Give as much or as little detail as you like

I'll start with mine.. Saxo. Lost control on ice, and someone hit me when i was going side ways. i broke both thighs and shins, collar, arm, ribs etc. and was in hosp for 8months and on crutches for 12... full recovery

Wow!

I was going to take the **** about the car but after reading about your injuries I changed my mind .

Saying that if it was something better you wouldnt have got those injuries.

I've never crashed so I cannot post mine

wild animal in middle of road, slightly damp bit very warm night, swrved to avoid it, hit a tree at abut 35mph, thank god for 4 star ncap and decent (ish) saftey features

2 broken ribs, healed fine didnt affect me much at all, just shaken up, had to be pulled out of the car, but walked away after, 3 sleepless nights after

not got any before pics, but heres the after with the branch removed from the front windshield

worst accident was ina citroen bx with me dad.,.. crashed into the back of an orion.. thats bout it,,


tbh ive never been a fan of saxos.. through seeing this and that lad i spoke to from next door getting killed in one on a country lane means i will never get in one either... coyle.. your one lucky sod.. good that you fully recovered...

Never crashed (yet!) but the worst crash I have been involved with was a guy who rolled a Corolla at a track day at the circuit I work at. No pics, I was on rescue unit, but the car got written off, the guy went to hospital. Was his mums car that he had 'borrowed' (she didn't know about it) for the day.

'officially' been driving for 9 months and had a laguna for the first 5 and grande punto for the remaining.

Have crashed neither yet

Mine Wasn't that bad.

I was driving down road doing about 40-45mph there was another car waiting in middle of road to turn across mine into a car park, just as i got there he turned so i went straight into him.

My injurys was i tore legiments in my arm which will never be fixed properly, strained my shoulders and really bad whiplash they thought i had broken my neck but luckily i hadn't.

Got no pics but mine was in my orange mk2 punto, on my 18th birthday, somehow managed to pull out the bottom of my road without seeing the car coming, hit me, spun me into a car on the opposite side of the road, ended up facing back up my road No injuries for all involved, but my punto was written off, and i imagine the sheds of the escort and sierra i hit were probably written off too

i would say that the worst crash i have ever had was reversing into a wall at high speed, while fooling around on t' farm


it was a mk3 escort, so it was alright

And you wonder why the VTR is quick... cause it's made from tin foil. Seriously stupid car. You are so lucky to have survived, even with all them injuries - you must have some impressive scars!

Only been in 2 crashes:

60ish mph into a stationary volvo 340 as a rear seat passenger in a Tipo. Bruised my toes.

70mph into the front wing of a missan Micra in a Seat Ibiza. Felt pretty stiff for a few weeks.

Worst, but also only crash.

Going down a hill behind a Vauxhall Zafira. Women driver pulled out on the Zafira who slammed on, I slammed on skidded and ended up attatching myself to her bumper.

£2500 worth of damage to my car, which took all the impact - with the acception of a scratch on the Zafira. No injurys at all, air-bad didn't even go off.
