Admittedly I often kept it alive for the sake of it, but it did allow a place for people to post things that weren't relevant to other threads and weren't worthy of their own thread.

Er, the spammy 'test' thread is still in LL!
BUT there was another 'test' thread that us mods were testing - it was in and out of LL within minutes......

Er.... why the concern? isn't it a really pointless thread, which could very easily be replicated?
The other one only said 'icles' anyway.
