you could drive a van through that gap.

These tend to be extremely expensive new so even in a very severe accident can be hashed back together and put back on the road.
In the late 1970s I had a boss who bought a Ford Escort write off with delivery mileage on it. It looked immaculate.
The story was it truly fell off the transporter and was re body shelled?;)

Fiat is still the bestseller in the Stelantis group, and that’s with bestsellers that are getting on a bit, the Panda and 500
May be, just may be because the Panda and 500 are still right for now, void of all the electronic (shall I say) stuff that festoons other so called small cars, because they are value for money when this is the biggest need of most people and because they are not dirty great oversized pantechnicons and can fit in a supermarket parking space. As well as being more economical and cheaper to run in nearly every respect. Its a shame someone somewhere doesnt just stop destroying things like this and conserve them instead.

I just learned this morning that I am still the administrator of my former employer's wireless phone account today. And have been since 2017, which was supposed to be temporary. Apparently, they want to change some things on the account and can't do a damn thing without my say so.:ROFLMAO:

I see the possibility of some serious mischief on my part but I'm trying to get with the phone company to get my name removed completely

Posh Transit is still with us, must be a neighbour's guest not a funeral mourner. Looking out the bedroom window this morning I see it's an "extra posh" Transit - even got built in solar panels!

You see a solar panel I see a pop top roof and awning and an electrical hook up.

Also it looks like it had stainless steel locks on the side ?

Some builders van turned into a camper by the looks of it ?

Nah, I didn't want to cause problems for the Field guys. We depended on those damn phones.
Sooooo, as my final FU, I made the guy who was responsible for this whole company wide flustercuck, the new admin. Per his boss.

oh deers. I hope hes up to it.

Oh Lord, he is not.
Let's put it this way, Admin for the account was no big deal. All I can ever remember doing is having to occasionally approve a new phone for a Field guy if his died before his contract was up.
Al, on the other hand, will put his finger prints all over it an muck up the works.

My Doblo seems built well too.
Our washing machine, and the last one seem very well made. Poorly designed and ridiculous built in obsolescence but thats not a Turkish issue. I think they have plenty of pride in what they make much like any other place.

Just doesn't quite cut the mustard like an Alfa or even a FIAT did.

The irony being with the turbo it would out sprint most of the recent Alfa and Fiat small cars by a margin..

Of course these are likely cheap beat cars with 82bhp none turbo that they got very cheap as the model is ending this year.

Yup, think that's an awning on the far side right enough. Still think the thing on top is solar something or other though although I agree the whole roof looks like it's a pop up jobbie.

Not so sure it's a converted van as it all looks too professional? Just look at the side window installation and how neatly the top fits? Also the wheels look like the sort that would come from the factory rather than aftermarket?

It interests me enough I was going to take a closer look today but I looked out the window when I woke up and it's gone.

That’s me adding confusion, I agree it is definitely a solar panel

As my brother does this fitting windows and poptops and all other conversion jobs on vans, it can be very professional. Some will do things themselves but others just buy the van and hand it to my brother with a large wedge of cash to do all the work.

Edit: having had a Quick Look at the factory Ford campervan, the poptop goes up at the back which is where the wires of the solar panel on that van appear to be routed. Also Ford have better thought out connections for the water and electric rather than being right in the middle of the off side panel

You gotta go when the sun shines on your panels.

We actually got power from the solar panels today, a fully charged battery and some hot water as well. The changability of the weather from nothing to something more like it for the time of year is dizzying,
