What's made you smile today?

Productive day just ticking off preparations for winter/christmas. So window hinges fixed, radiators bled, patio table put away, wrapping paper bought, tyre socks put on and off to check they fit, spade, mats and blanket in the boot, car washed, levels and pressures checked, stone chips touched in, screen wash topped up and new winter bottles mixed. Finally replaced the 3 year old rear wiper as it was smearing everywhere.

Lots of dull little things but nice to get them done..this evening the assault on wrapping begins.

Just submitted a new word to Oxford...

Chav-tivity

Overly, garishly and/or vulgarly decorated houses with so many flashing blue and white LED lights that it distracts passing air traffic and drivers during the festive period.

101 Positions
102 Excuses

A spot of target practice with my nephew before it got too dark. We used discs of ice from buckets in the garden as targets. :)

Biodegradable lead free pellets and targets that will melt away; how eco-friendly is that? ;)

How's that then?

They've both got dual zone climate control, but the BMW system doesn't have independent airflow function, unlike my Grande Punto. For example, in my car, I can have the air blowing towards my face, but not the footwell, and the passenger can have the exact opposite, but in my grandads BMW, the direction of airflow will be the same for both driver and passenger; only the temperature can be changed.

When I checked the GP had the same dual zone system as the Stilo / Bravo and that works exactly the same way you describe the BMW.....

They look similar but they work differently.

Bizarrely I don't know of any other manufacture that gives individual direction control to each side, posh cars tend to have front and rear control

my croma has full flap control, so can keep food in passenger foot well either warm or cold and rest of car the opposite

Interesting, looks like the Bravo and Stilo are not as good then :p
