Managed to get a dentist that I can walk to rather than involving 3 hours of driving.
Drove to Hartlepool Yesterday to cover another site for work and after putting £30 in petrol in my car im going to get £48 back

Thats what I loved about getting my expenses with the Police, used to cost me something like 10p a mile, and was getting 40p a mile back.
Yeah thats what im getting back 40p a mile and i put that £30 in 3 days ago and ive still got a bit left so wont need to fill up for another day or so

Don't forget the cost of wear and tear on tyre's extra servicing etc not to mention the hike in insurance premium by adding "business use".
I only get £0.30 a mile and even in the Punto when everything is factored in I only acutally make £0.05-£0.10 a mile.

Mine didn't increase when I added business use, but was then told a few weeks later that we don't need to add business use to claim mileage.
Kids carol singing -that actuall sang carols and were thankfull for the handfull of 20p's, made them sing two songs for the money though :slayer:

You don't but if your using your car for work other than "commuting to a permanent place of work" you need business insurance.
Got some headlight bulbs that actually make it so I can see at night!

Although in usual coupe fashion the locks are frozen shut :bang:.
Oh well got a nice new thermostat to put on it next chance I get so at least when I do get in my fuel and ignition maps will work as the engine temp will be where it should be
