after seeing last week about 12 different peoples facebook statuses going to single from in a relationship its actually quite nice to ee a few going into a relationship.

Drove the Sei properly for the first time in about 3 months. Battery was flat, clutch cable needed adjusting and ran rough for a couple of minutes but once it warmed up it was great - forgot how much I loved driving
Just need to check tyres and fluid levels before the big trip on Friday!

finding out i can fix my girlfriends broken GHD's and just how easy they are to do!
means i don't have to buy her a new/good condition used set like she wants me to, so i can now get her some more presents as well.

what needed fixing on them?
needed a new case as she'd stood on them, and the Thermal fuse was broken too,and i broke one of the bits which holds the ceramic bit lol. really easy to fix! http://www.ghd-repair.co.uk/ got guides, no soldering required unless you want to go down the cheaper routes, for example a thermal fuse is 69p from maplins or similar! but i paid a bit extra so i can just unscrew the two connections, and stick the new one on in place of the old one.

Got let home from college about 2 hours early.
my interview went really well and iv been invited back for an observation day this thursday

an early start this morning, so a wee bit of overtime pay
and i finished the welds on my manifold thats about 12 hours in total spent welding alone, so thats maybe why im so chuffed!

how you spend so long?
its quite a bit of welding tbh, takes time when you're trying to lay an even bead of weld with a TIG torch in awkward positions. Every weld had two runs as well.
