Technical water pump

Hi, Just about to collect my Twin Air Panda from a service, as an advisory was advised there is a little leak and water punp may need replacing at some stage. is this a thing with these engines, about to do a short hop to France and wondering whether to have the work done before going, any thoughts? I think I have read on here that some water pumps have indeed failed. With a timing belt they tend to get repalced every 5 years or so. WHile I dont know how difficult it is to cha nge on the TA I would get a second opinion, and consider repalcing it if going on a long trip for peace of mind.

Hi iam after changing the timing chain kit on my TA it’s not an easy job the water pump is at the bottom of the timing chain cover it comes out when you take off the cover
