My 1989 Panda 1000CL vacuum advance unit has failed. And hell I cant find one for a reasonable price. £27.04 + postage on top at these guys:

Thats probably as cheap as you will get one, they were £25 from Fiat a couple of years ago.

Maby it will help:
tipo tempra{1.4 1.6} uno{1.3 1.5} ritmo regata{1.3 1.5} etc unit will work{ cars without digiplex ignition with distributor in the engine block}, it is the same part but with different part number because the vacuum delivering pipe goes at different angle than in panda .I have one under the bonnet of my panda.

£27 plus postage seems a good price. Can't expect it any cheaper than that.
try looking in a scrap yard for the cars that Bartpanda suggested.. bet you could get one for less than a fiver.
yes, Pandas are rare but scrappys are groaning with carb Tipos and Regattas.....

No point getting a used one, it'll probably have failed already or be about to.
The ones off these other vehicles may look the same, and fit, but may give different results. Like the mechanical advance inside the distributor is matched to the engine, so is the vac unit. If getting one off a scrappy, it probably needs to be from same engine spec as yours. Unless any identification codes are the same.
Wrong advance can lead to hot running, poor performance, or holed pistons.
