My Panda Cross 4x4 2015 been running well for almost 60,000 miles until today. I was driving along when suddenly it lost a lot of power. It would rev but very slowly. It was sluggish as it slowly accelerated. Its tick over was rough also. But i then left it at home for a good time and it cooled down. Started it and it was fine and drove ok. This happened a few thousand miles ago and then went ok. Now its happened again. Seen a few posts on things such as split intercooler pipes, wastegate issue and mass air flow sensor. There's no warning lights on the dash. Shame as its one great car.

Aside from the possible missfiring coil or plug; worse case scenario might be UniAir module (controls valve lift and timing). Is the engine oil level ok (rubbish dip stick I know!) UniAir uses engine oil for the hydraulic lifters? Try eliminating coil issues by swapping from one cylinder to other, but you need to be able to read engine codes to see which cylinder misfire (if there was one) is on. The nature of the engine makes it difficult to notice rough running! But one cylinder down halves the power:rolleyes:

Hopefully just a split turbo pipe or inlet leak somewhere. Find posts on here for UniAir module.

Hi I get it serviced down the road at a local garage. They are proper petrol heads and do a great job. IIts done every year no matter how many miles its done.t did use a bit of oil to be fair but i only ever topped it up with top quality oil and the levels fine. Used it for work today and its running fine. I feel a £££ visit to Fiat is coming.

Mentioned this before but will say it again. Had a similar sounding problem with my 2013 4x4 TA where it would run fine then loose power with no warning lights etc. Stop and switch off for 5 then would go again no problem...for a while.
Had it plugged in which showed up coil issues. Got 2 new ones from work, fitted them and problem is now solved. Happened at just over 60k miles too so maybe there's something in that?

Worth getting it scanned with software before spending £100+ for the privelege

See the forum MultiECUScan register..

Or ask if anybody has it local to you

Well i popped it into the main dealer. When they had a look and sent this email "loss of power due to fault codes for oil pressure switch and an air leak from the turbo requiring two hrs diagnostic" Ill update further but looks like my wallet is going to a lot lighter soon. Then again, its the first time its had any faults in 61,000 miles, is running great at the minute but has now lost power x4 times in less than 2 months and i need it for work. Still, my Skoda Octavia broke down once every 20,000 miles and it cost big £££££ to fix. The most unreliable car ive ever owned. And have you seen the second hand prices for the Cross! Dealers selling the same one as mine same year, for the same i paid three years ago. But I wont sell my cross. Its to much fun.
