Technical Twin Air fuel type

I'm not going to go rolling road and custom map.
The tuning box has five switchable maps and for an extra £50 is switched by Bluetooth from your phone.
Might get one and experiment...just looking for reassurance that mechanically all should cope with 20% power hike

My 2018 4x4 TA always has E5 and has done so since I bought it new. If I can get it, and I always can , locally, it prefers Esso
I can't do a comparison with E10 in the car because I have never used the stuff in the car
What I can say for certain that recently I was forced to do a fill up of E10 in my Vincent Black Shadow engined Egli Special bike(almost out of fuel and nothing else available) and it was dramatically down on power, got very very hot, and generally ran badly. I coaxed it home where the engine died outside the garage and would not start at all until stone cold again..
Drained the E10 off (put it in my wife's fuel injection scooter which did not complain) filled the Egli with Esso E5 and all was well.
For those not in the know the Black Shadow engine can trace it's roots back to about 1936 (although the Shadow first came out in the 1940s) and obviously has carbs as opposed to injection.. By todays standards it is an ancient bit of kit, but will always be a masterpiece of design and manufacture.
Before you disagree get a ride on a well set up Vincent Black Shadow, and marvel at the product of the "Two Phils" all those years ago

Premature DMF failure is probably the biggest issue,( it Can wreck the gearbox / Bellhousing as there is limited clearance)

E5 probably wise on a motor where you are invested in more power

I've got a 5 speed Euro6 panda TA,

Similar power to my 85bhp mito, (both well down on my Euro5 Punto)

The Panda has a couple of poor running qualities:
Poor fuelling when "half-warm"
(in recent HOT UK weather have noticed the Alfa has a hint of this..)

Runs rough / misfires after 1 hours running (only in summer.. Perfect in winter) think it's an electronic sensor issue

Been like this for 5 years and 40k

Might try E5.. 🤔

The euro 5 has run beautifully for 85k solely on Supermarket fuel.. So Not something I have really needed to experience

Many thanks for your experiences and thoughts.
I'll run it on E5 as a given
Maybe buy the tuning box and start on first setting...
I had a BMW F80 that i had an adaptable map on and only ever used stage 1... that was more than anyone would need.
Just feel the TA has a little more to give

It's off to live permanently n the mountains of Montenegro in four weeks time... I've completed the restorative works and am looking to drive it from UK to it's new home over three days.

I always run my old bikes on Esso Supreme or whatever there super stuff is called,
even my Diesel Panda seems to run better on Esso fuel though I cant tell the difference
between the two grades of Diesel, in tests Tesco supermarket fuel came out very well
so could be worth a go if no Esso near by.
I also have a modern scooter that doesn't seem to care at all what you put in it.
