Tuning turbo time!

yeah my maps are to get it ticking over thats about it i still aint done anything with it, im disheartened with it really, it was sat outside my house on the street for 6 months in that time some **** broke one of my custom mirrors off (path side) and a truck has scrapped all down one side of the car :( (road side) its now sat in my mates unit on an industrial estate looking sorry for itself cant ahve anything nice without pricks getting jelous (n)
should get yours sorted!
I looked at your maps... very messy :p but Asteris has emailed me some nice base maps so thats a start. he to has not finished hes it seems! are there any centos running MS on the road

really need the regulator to work on the fuel as it also (im told) work the other way. as boost rises it causes the regulator to compensate for that pressure

yeah it smokes like a bitch on the road lol black smoke overfueling like fook, but drives smooth off boost its when the boost kicks in it just throws the fuel all in lol and just slows down

Yes rising rate ones like the FSE power boost valve have a pressure ratio of 1.7-1 so something like every psi of boost you will get extra 1.7 psi fuel pressure so 1bar boost 1.7bar extra
think my one is a 2-1 ratio only for race use so they say lol but sure as hell run rich enough to stop it melting on boost lol
remember on turbo engines with the low compression you can run more spark advance off boost, need access to one of them 4 or 5 gas things

Turbo cento slowly turning back into a tweaked N/A to be sold on. my white cento is getting bits added to it getting ready for the turbo to be fitted.
tomorrow im going to search for insurance. my current insurer will add my turbo for surprisingly little but still going to have a look around.

mounted the boost control into the dash where the clock once lived. looks great and not very noticable but easy to view (im not fitting any boost gauges or anything as we are trying to keep it "stealth")

You need a specialist insurer to get the best deal, my turbo cost me £159 this year in the end fully comp with agreed valuation

I've got an EGT guage that I was planning on on mounting in the clock recess just not got around to it yet. my EBC is in the ashtray so i can hide it away.

If you remove the centre vents and mount the guages there they look almost stock

who are you insured with? I know mine wont be anywhere near that but worth a try if you can give me a few names that will be great! https://www.hertsinsurance.com/ seem pretty good and give 30% discount to motorsport club members.

ashtray looks good! did consider it myself but the shape of the EBC is not the right shape for it.
fitted the EBC today. made a silly mistake thinking the plastic behind the clock was nothing. it turned out to be ducting for the window heaters. (oops) i just cut the hole big enough for the back (only about 10mm) of the controller to fit in. i put heat reflective tape (foil) on the exposed part but i expect it to be fine.

it was nice and easy to fit with a switched live from the clock available. and the wire to the engine bay goes through the speedo drive hole.
