Me again!

My car is deciding today's the day to play up I think

My husband has fixed the rear lights thanks to the advice on here but now my trip button, mode button, + - buttons, headlight adjuster button, cigarette lighter and lights around the heating dials don't work!!! Argh:bang:

Cos of this I can't reset the time on the multifunction display which keeps flashing now and it's really annoying.

Can anyone shed some light on this for us please?

Thanks very much

Hi, :)
I'd guess it's a supply issue,

check fuses 1st,
then try unlocking the steering column, and move through up + down arcs..then lock again in the central position, (wiring is VERY tightly packaged.. not unheard of to tug things out of connection)

it MAY be that plugging in and resetting could help, let us know what you find, (y)

what year / model ? - as the controls differ slightly..,

Charlie - Oxford

It's a 2005 1.4 sporting.

We have checked the fuses by the drivers leg and all are fine, are there any more?

Also we have noticed today that there is a strip of black tape across the top of the digital display, is that normal?

On the display we can only see mileage (which is in km :bang:) time and temp (which never shows an acutal temp lol)
