Well i had a night in manchester planned with the mrs, nice restaurant, hotel etc. But ive had to cancel that now

This is beyond ridiculous, as has already been said we need to step it up N.I. style or something of a heavier nature. People need showing whos boss and the law needs to come down heavy (not just £50 fines paid over 15 years cus there on the dole.......).

Im English, i always have been english and dont like saying im british. I was born in england, raised english and went to an english school!

Some people may call me racist because i say im english, but the way i see it is the people who accuse me of being racist are the biggest racists around. The people who call me racist, 99.9% of the time have a skin colour that differs from mine.

On another note..... I am predicting that we will be getting busier over the coming months due to people not being insured or having complications meaning that they cannot afford to run their businesses anymore and thus having to go see an Insolvency Practitioner. Very sad times when people have no choice but to go down this route all thanks to a bunch of selfless pricks

I'm english and proud of it. But my scottish family are proud to be scottish.

The British Empire is dead.. has been for a while. (But yhats my opinion dont abuse me for it)

It's the way most people who say "I'm English" tend to act. Not all people who claim they're English are racist lunatics, but there do seem to be a few.

I'm not going to say you're racist because you've not said anything on here which is overtly racist, but most people wouldn't accuse you of people racist without some reason, also why would a white person of the same race as you feel that you're being racist towards them? It stands to reason that 99.99% of people who call you racist will be of a different race to you? That's why it's racism, because you're of a different race to them.

Whilst that sounds funny, it's not really true. These people KNOW they can get away without being caught so naughty steps don't come into it.

Whilst originally it was predominantly black youths who started with the trouble (you will hear this said on the TV) - Tottenham, Hackney and Croydon do have a large majority of ethnic minorities - once the "copy cat" mentality all kicked in, it seems anyone was doing it.

At the end of the day, it's nothing to do with colour - it's about youth culture having no respect for the world we live in, the laws we follow or the people around us.

However, at the same time - if when all is said and done, and it's discovered that (example) 85% of the looters where X race - then it will be foolish to try and start playing the racist card, when the evidence is so obvious.

As for it all being made up .... oh dear ... that's just stupid, I was in Clapham Junction, I went to Croydon and yesterday I was in Ealing. This is very much real.

End of the day 99% of these people tearing up Englands cities are ENGLISH. Nationality isn't colour it's where your born and bred.

Edit: youth culture being to blame. So who do you blame. Well obviously it's the young people being involved, then it's the generation that brought them up. 40-60 year olds are the people who created the scum doing this.

I call myself british because i can pass freely across borders that barely even exist. I enjoy the sporting rivalries between the home nations, and at that time i am definitely english. Not sure how relevant this all is though.
This rioting is nothing at all to do with nationality - it's about a bunch of feral idiots pushing things to see how much they can get away with. Nothing to do with race, perhaps little to do with class, mainly down to a lack of a firm hand to whack them back onto the right path. This of course starts at the family level, then to the police who must be so frustrated how little they are allowed to do, then on to the impotent dithering government lead by a man who regularly sheds his skin.
Slap them down with whatever force is neccessary now to save any more embarrassment in the eyes of the international community, and more importantly, they are destroying OUR home - OUR country
