This is just getting ridiculous now.
Personally they should all be sent to Afganistan to fight there.
And there is no riots currently in Sheffield or Chesterfield.

If you don't have insurance - can you get compensation?
Assuming the event is officially deemed a riot under section 1 of the Public Order Act, the ABI says the police/Government must compensate individuals and businesses that suffer loss or damage as a result of a riot, if a claim is made. There is no cap on the level of compensation.
Some suggestions state this only applies to building property or contents damage, not damage to cars or business interruption.
The 'riot loss' compensation scheme applies to all persons and organisations who suffer a riot-related loss regardless of whether or not they are insured.
Crucially, anyone claiming must do so within 14 days. The ABI points out this will be difficult for those unable to get to their property if it's still a crime scene.
It is calling for the Government to extend the deadline to 42 days.
"Insurers are also able to claim their losses from payout to customers from the Government under the same scheme.
We will update this section on Wednesday, including information on how to claim. We've been unable to do this today due to the disruption of having to leave our offices early because of the riots."

That's a great idea in theory but the Army don't want these idiots. Maybe use them as human shields or some sort of distraction? :chin: :devil:
yeah we all pay, I posted the info for the people earlier who was worried about there cars, because insurance is so expensive in their areas they only have tpft

True but a baseball bat can be explained as a "device to play sport" and has a lawfull purpose. SMG would be a lot hard to explain :chin: it would be fun though :devil:
I've always found TPFT costs more than fully comp
I've found it only five quid or so cheaper, not worth bothering with.
You still have to hammer your own nails through the end.

The second part is really pissing me off, seen it loads on Facebook. Its like going into the Army is a punishment for doing something wrong.
Plus, would you really want them walking around with a gun? I wouldn't trust them with a plastic spoon!
Though it's only being glossed over in the news Leicester City Centre has been closed off and shop fronts at the 'Highcross' shopping centre have been smashed. Attempts to start fires have been made. Multiple arrests as well.*
There are even pictures of a poundland being looted. Yes Leicester is that classy. Either that or all the good shops have badass security shutters.
Just been in to pick some friends up as taxis are refusing to take people and police have closed all the clubs.*

Stuck to all the old country and backroads; less people, less police, less trouble.*

i'm dissmayed at certain sentiments put forward through out this thread. Especially those with distinct racist under-tones, which may have escaped some peoples 'radar'.
All of a sudden certian individuals have become 'english' instead of 'british' in an attempt to distance themselves from whom they believe to be the culprits out there of a certain ethinic minority(s) looting and rioting. It's this way of thinking that creates this type of tension on the streets in certain areas in the first place. Forgetting that it was their ancestors who rape and pillaged around the world and decimated land, religion and culture. And while im not saying this whole thing is racial, (which i believe it not to be for the most part) there is a part in this whole thing for it.
It is no secret that the police racially profile certain ethnic minorites and tag them to crimes, and subliminally we do it too without thinking. However to think that certain ethnic minorities caused all this is ludicrous. Some people need to check the demographics of england, then watch the news carefully and see it is a wide mix of people, straight up opportunists of ALL races jumping on the back of a bandwagon to pursue their own selfish needs.
The Rumor has it that the police in an attempt to keep the 9,000 jobs that were to be cut, fanned the flames and kept this going, as to put a point they were/are needed.
The other rumour was that this was again done so that the government can rush through some laws in parliment in time for the olympics, or to further their own ends of a police state.
Me personally, as a resident of Handsworth i was there when they put the police station on fire (no i wasnt rioting) and speaking of Birmingham and Birmingham only, it has largely been over exaggerated on the news and media that there is masses on the streets which there isnt. Infact alot of these business on soho road werent even hit, the owners took their stock and made it look so. I have even been told this that it was an opportunity to make insurance scams, now i know this isnt the case every where, but people need to look at the wider picture and not just be brain washed by the media.
I'm just putting forward my own thoughts from my own perspective and i dont expect everyone to agree with it, but i thought it was worth a try.
