Truth be known I bet a high % of those rioting don't know what they are rioting for? Maybe its just a laff to them...i don't know. Shocking to say the least.
I took a wee tour today with my mate in his Shogun, if anybody tried to hijack us, they'd have got a bull bar in the face, anyway, where Steve's photos are taken is where I travel to go to work, I somehow think I won't be going in tomorrow.
The police chopper is still flying about and I heard an army Gazelle as well, the sad thing is, my mum lives up near Stormont and it's literally a 5 minute drive from where those photo's were taken, and the castle grounds were packed with people walking their dogs, playing footy with the kids etc.
Most of the rioters don't have jobs, they live off state handouts while the godfathers, as it were, swank about in the lap of luxury, they are easy to spot, the flashily done up house in a run down area, usually with an expensive car outside, they don't give a **** about peace, and although they claim to be the "defenders" of the community, they just wreck it.
I was watching the news and it showed a bullet embedded in the side of a police land rover, my mate's ex army and he said it was probably from an AK, we heard one rattling off last night, it was a sound that I hoped never to hear again.
Where I work is pretty prone to rioting too, If I can make it into work, I think I'll bugger off early, actually, edit that, the kid across the street has told me that they've wrecked the local maccy d's.
The police fixed wing plane and a couple of gazelles are flying about.
It's like vietnam!

I came into work yesterday morning and this morning no problem, they'd all gone to bed by that time I suspect. I wouldn't call it Vietnam, but deffinately a throwback to the 70's (yes I am that old).
What baffles me is 700 + were rioting yet only 2 people scooped?

Personally I think we all should be out on the streets protesting about the price of petrol and diesel. Just listening to the news and seen the guy in England whos getting the lorries out to block the roads in protest and can't for the life of me understand why there's people against him. 2 thirds of the price of a gallon go to the treasury.
