To de-badge or not to de-badge..

I personally like the smoother de-badged look!

Here is when i first got my car

And here it is with no badges and the front one painted black to blend in with the grille

im likin the grill. Personaly i think to keep the badges on.. I usually have trouble gettin the stupid glue off. Any good tips for that?

yeah just get a heat gun or hair dryer to melt the glue and once its all off then just get some water and a cloth and rub it all off, thats all i did and came up a treat!

black paint

Hey Kris.
What kind of paint did you use for the badge?
Looks smart!

just use standard Halfords Primer and Satin Black as in this, the original example. ;)

...

Did you remove the badge first or just paint it whilst still on??

Removed it as it's a hell of a lot easier. Look for a couple of spring clips on the back (easier if you remove the grille first) and pop it off. May need some glue to stick it back on after but mine was fine.

Keep badges ON - if in good condition and not badly faded, or replace/re-paint them if they are.

Only remove badges if you are -

1. Ashamed of what you drive
or
2. A kn*bend trying to pretend your basic trim version is really top-of-the-range...

I have mine debadged and its not either of them, i dont have a basic trim model i have 1.8 hlx and also im not ashamed of it being a fiat bravo i love them, its because i like the smooth look without the badges being stuck here there and everywhere!
