Hi, Welcome to the FF.

If the Connect Nav+ was originally fitted in the car by Fiat, you can get the code from a Fiat dealer, but it should not need the code.

If the Connect Nav+ was retro fitted, you will need to send it to Magneti Marelli in Italy to get the code, or install firmware version 9.8

Its a Orginally fitted you can see the photo i uplaoded ... ooh maan but the dealer cashed from me a 100 Euros ... :( very bad..

If it was originally fitted in the car, you should never need the code. It will be stored in the car's Body Computer.

Yes i understand, but how install i the version 9.8 sir... can u give me a link please. iam a noob iam very sorry. thank you

Stilo Connect Nav+ (CN+) Firmware Update Procedure.

WARNING:It has been reported by some people, that carrying out the firmware update has permanently destroyed their CN+. This could possibly be because the procedure was not followed correctly, or because the car battery was partially discharged. Before proceeding, decide whether you really want the update, and that your battery is not discharged.

Here's a link for the version 9.8 Update disc. You will need to burn it onto a good quality, blank CD-R at slow speed.

[ame="http://rapidshare.com/files/276572663/CN98.ISO.html"]CN98.ISO.html[/ame]

This is the Update procedure:

NOTE: Some information stored in memory will be erased once this update starts.

You must follow the instructions exactly as follows:
  1. Remove the SIM card then switch the ignition on (DO NOT start the engine).
  2. Once the CN+ has fully started, clear any error messages using the “ESCAPE” button.
  3. Remove any map or music CD then turn the CN+ off using the “ON” button.
  4. Once the CN+ has fully shut down, turn it back on using the “ON” button and clear any error messages using the “ESCAPE” button.
  5. Insert the Update CD and wait for the display to show “CD Error”. Clear this message using the “ESCAPE” button.
  6. Turn the CN+ off by pressing the “ON” button.
  7. Remove the ignition key and then wait about 30 seconds.
  8. With the ignition key still removed, switch the CN+ on using the “ON” button.
  9. The Update procedure should begin. DO NOT switch the CN+ off during the procedure. The update may stop for a few moments a few times, this is normal. When completed, the blue FIAT logo will appear on the screen and the CD will be ejected automatically.
  10. Remove the CD then switch the CN+ off using the “ON” button.
If the update procedure has been successful, when you switch the CN+ back on, it should show 9.8 in the bottom right hand corner of the blue Fiat screen.

NOTE: If the update procedure stops at 50% for more than 5 minutes, or does not complete successfully for any reason, you will probably now have a corrupted flash and a completely dead CN+. It has been reported that pressing buttons 3 then 4 then 5 then 6 then “TEL” will flash all the front panel lights twice and may allow the update to resume. I have never needed to try this, so I don’t know if it works or not. Your only other option though, would be to send the unit to Magneti Marelli in Italy for repair, or to replace the CN+.

After you've updated the firmware, the language of the CN+ will have reverted to Italian. To change the language, you will need the Setup disc.

Here's a link for the Setup disc. You will need to burn it onto a good quality, blank CD-R at slow speed.

[ame="http://rapidshare.com/files/276567596/CN_Setup.zip"]CN_Setup.zip[/ame]

This is the procedure to change the language:
  1. Switch the ignition on.
  2. As soon as the CN+ starts, insert the Setup CD and allow the CN+ to boot up normally.
  3. Read and clear any warning messages using the “ESCAPE” button.
  4. Press "SETUP" then "LANGUAGE" then choose your language.
  5. Highlight “OK” then press “ENTER” to accept the new language.
  6. Read and follow the warning messages as appropriate. When complete, press “ESCAPE” to clear the final message.
  7. Eject the Setup CD.

Hi, Welcome to the FF.

You need to post the numbers from the back and sides of the radio, then I may be able to get the code for you.

Hi Alan,

I'm normally stationed at RAF Brize Norton but working in Spec Line here at Mount Pleasant complex. This involves working on all the specialist vehicles such as the fire engines, snow and ice clearing vehicles and any other aircraft support vehicles from aircraft towing tractors to toilet trucks.

radio code for blaupunkt

Hello.
Can anyone please help me?
I just brought a second hand Fiat Punto from 2001 for my son (and me of course :)) but the radio display its not good so we are always "fighting" to try to find the favourite radio frequencies.
I thought of buying an adapter and a new radio but I like de "lines" of the car so I thought buying a radio from a smashed (don't know the term in english) car that have a blaupunkt radio ok.
The guy has two radios (one only cassette and the other with cd) that the numbers are:

blaupunk 815B137414722100
fiat 7641374316- MID
735289649 - P.N.
BP-NR 764141374316

2º radio
blaupunk BP9372Y1172880
fiat 7649372316
735272569 - P.N.

Can one of you help me with the codes?
Thank you in advance.
Paula

Re: radio code for blaupunkt

Hi, I've got a Fiat Stilo with a Visteon radio which originally came with the car. I had an aftermarket Sony stereo fitted but want to go back to the manufacturer one. However, when I re-connected it, it came up with 'NO CAN NETWORK'. I haven't got a clue as to what this means, does it require a code to be inputted? If so, here are the relevant numbers:

Serial: M019745
Fiat Part no: 735420721
Visteon Part no: VP5FCF-18C838-LB

Any help or guidance would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance

Just checked it again, 1453 is the correct code for the serial number you posted.

You can only enter the code when the display shows " CODE " then " - - - - ".

If the display shows " WAIT ", leave the radio and ignition switched on until the display shows " CODE " then " - - - - " then enter the code using the preset buttons. i.e. press button 1, then 4, then 5, then 3. If it still doesn't work, then the code for your radio must have been changed by a radio workshop.
