Re: Oi, Stu...............................

Yep - just got p/call from Nige - springs on and CDA fitted!

Car now being laser-aligned as we speak - will give you all feedback once home later.

springs ??? Any good ???
Hi guys!

At last I will report in, now that Eibach springs on :) :) :)

What an amazing difference?! The car was also laser aligned. This may also explain part of the handling, or lack of, before. I knew something was up, due to a tyre wear issue, but was waiting until I got 17s on, or in this case, just the lowering kit. Nige said both fronts were pointing outwards, lol. Even he commented on the drive that morning to the workshop.

Anyway, now that roads semi-dry, and I can try out some decent cornering, the difference can definitely be felt - the car is rock solid, no body roll. And now turns in and responds like it should do. I think the drop is about 35mm. I will take some pics tomorrow, in same place as I took the originals, and see the comparison.

The CDA is also an amazing bit of kit. The initial start up seems more pronounced. And when car is booted and hits 4000 revs, it is like another punch and an almighty roar :D - probably helped by the remap, which is a CDA compliant map.

All the tests, re 0-60, 50-70, quarter mile, will be done once roads and conditions are better.

BUT overall, (y) to Nige and Angel Tuning :)

Re: Stu...............................

Have you still got the standard dampers on it? If so those springs must be good quality and well suited to the car (y) Mine are terrible with standard shocks!

So do you know the actual power gains from the tune-up?
