General Sylvia....

Well, a lowloader took her away to mervyn stuarts... The breakdown guy didn't even look at it just shoved it on the back of the truck.
Weirdly he was talking to me on the phone and knew exactly who i was and where i worked before i even spoke!

Maybe it's time to bring Juppy out of retirement for Istanbul...

Erm... Never give up is my idea on this one!

Anyway, Sylvia got dumped at Mervyn Stewarts by the ever lovely Britannia Rescue and they've been trying to find out what the problem it.

It's totally intermittened which is the annoying part!

Well, the last 48 hours have been kinda interesting with our mini panda adventure to London and back. You might of seen the stuff in the 5thGear thread but I'll put Sylvia's stuff here this is her wee corner of the FF...

Was an early start on board the Lagan Viking cruising into Liverpool at round 6 am (ok, Gina & Graham and Alan & Co where up a LOT earlier:eek: )

Was a long haul to London with only a few missed turns, lol!
Had a really great day on set with Vicky and Tom who where sooooo cool about the panda and even signed it with good luck messages!

Or me by the looks of it!!! Erm..... EEKS!

Good day all round and for TV folk they we're sooo dead on to the buck ejits and the worlds most travelled Fiat Panda!

Except the next morning!

The mystery starting fault that has been bugging Sylvia returned somewhere in the middle of the Irish Sea...

DSC03373.jpg

Typical, we draw a crowd everytime the bonnet gets lifted!
That man and his wife where soooo annoying about 'Fiats' that he nearly got thrown overboard by me and Stu!!!

DSC03375.jpg

The shame!!!!!

DSC03376.jpg

Thankfully we where on top of the ship so there was lots of ramps to push her down to get her started!

Stu then dropped her back to Mervyn Stewarts (with great difficulty cause she was for ever cutting out) but by the time he got her there the fault had dissappeared totally!!!!

I think when they wern't looking they didn't notice Sylvia sniggering muttley style about getting another long rest in the back of Mervyn Stewarts with that Novo panda 100 that she's got her eye on!

Nice photos Jim. You'll have to get those printed out and stuck in the window!

I'm sure I can add them to the Golden Gate Bridge and the Effel Tower pics that are already there, lol!

Well, Mervyn Stewarts where on the phone... Tis the distruibuter that's gone and it's not that old!:(

I'll get it back off them and have a look see at it.

Jim

This is why I love owning Sylvia... the wee stories that come up from time to time!

So i got rid of my german porn on fleebay to a guy from Armagh who's going to use the Beemer as a track day car.

So as he loads the car onto the back of a trailer he turns to me and asks 'Did you by any chance drive a Fiat Panda across Amercia??'

Aparently he'd read about it on the net...

Well... Latest mantaince update.

DSC03492.jpg

The new exhaust is on and the Master Cylinder is fitted. The brake fulid was black with the remains of the seals from the old one! By god, I'd not noticed how bad they'd got since last July when it started to play up in San Francisco!

With the new carb on the car is transfromed! Only 3 weeks to the high speed testing on the Autobanns, hehe!
