General Steering Wheel Controls and Power off

Right guys, I've got my stereo into my Mk1 75sx finally.

But how do I get the controls on the wheel to operate on my new head unit?

Also, how can I get the unit to switch off when I take the key out of the ignition, as atm I have to swith it off manually?

you will have to re-wire it to an ignition live instead of the conatant live its wired to at the moment.

If its a non-fiat stereo you need a interface for s.wheel controls to operate.

take the live from the cig lighter of anything that comes on with the ingition.
