Some girlfriend help!

Some girlfriend help!

I can't seem to get images of her with this new guy out my head! thats whats bothering me most! :(

I think about the stuff we did together but now shes going to be doing all that with this new guy :O

I feel a bit used too :(

It's a difficult one for sure. Going back to my recent "experiences" it was very difficult for the other girl to deal with the fact that I was in a relationship and was obviously sleeping with someone else and to a lesser extent it was difficult for me too.

I'm afraid I can't help with the whole physical side of things, it's a real mind**** and there really is no way to stop thinking about it other than to let time do its thing and lessen the pain. Obviously you having someone to be with physically will help with things but you don't want to jump into that of course.

Porn is your friend!

My friend decided to inform me he seen her out on saturday night with another guy :O

Aparently they have been seeing each other for 3 weeks ... we split up 3 weeks ago :/ ... Never thought she would ever have done that! ... I wish my friend never told me as I was beginning to move on :O

Well at least you know for sure what's happening. It is better knowing the truth. Now the hard bit, moving on. I'm afraid that will not be easy as you've pointed out that you really loved your ex. Time is indeed a healer, again easy for me to say, but move on you must.

you will get past it and it will be hard but soon enough you will find someone better. everyone will say it but it is true

at least now you know and it gets it out the way if you hadn't of found out you would of found out later when they go official and it would prolly of been worse.

ask yourself do you really want to be with her if she is capable of moving on so easily?

An ex girl friend of mine actually cheated on me on my 18th birthday i laugh at it now back then i was pretty pissed of but it was a bloody good job she did.

not long after i found my current partner and couldn't be happier.

my advice would be to accept it and go out and have some fun, get your mates together and go paint balling or something while you have a good excuse ;)

when i got divorced a professor I knew at that time gave me this advice.

"you can buy all the faster cars and bigger houses you want it will make no difference to your ex, what really pisses them off is upgrading to a better woman"

of course he had been married 6 times and had to leave his home country because of his infidelities, but he did have a point.

take this time to enjoy yourself or do something you really want to do, you're still young and worrying about weather you have a girlfriend or not is essentially pissing your life up the wall.

don't worry about lacking confidence, your not the first and you won't be the last.

Well I hope I can move on quickly :)

My problem is that I struggle to just walk up and talk to women, I lack confidence :(

We all do mate, don't worry :) I've never just walked up to and talked to a woman in my life, well at least not one who I was attracted to.

First g/f I had sent me an email saying "all you have to do is ask" and I still didn't have the guts to ask her out properly. We worked together and were friends for a good couple of years before any of that happened.

Second g/f (internet relationship) she spoke to me on a friend of a friends phone when they were all drunk and then sent me a PM on a forum to apologise for her drunk shenanigans. Got to talking and became friends and then more than friends.

Third g/f met her on the same forum as 2nd g/f and as she was one of only 2 or 3 people on the forum in Perth (in Australia) I suggested we meet up and things just clicked.

Wife. Sent her a PM on the same forum as the 2 girls above ( :p ) saying "I'm bored, fancy a chat" and started talking and got to liking each other :p

Girl I shouldn't really have had a thing for. We work together and just had such a good laugh because we're both naughty and don't know when to stop when it comes to a joke. Anyway, we were just talking on FB and I mentioned that someone thought I liked her and she asked me how I felt about her and I was a bit shy about things and she said "It's OK, it's probably the same way I feel" and the rest is history (thankfully!)

So there you go, I've gone through a whole 28 years of my life and even gotten married without ever having that awkward moment where you go up to a stranger or even a woman you know and start talking to them because you find them attractive.

So my advice is that if you have feelings for someone then just get to know them, be yourself and have a good laugh with them. It'll either happen from there or it won't :) I think the thing that's gotten me the last 4 women in my life is my sense of humour, I consider myself a pretty average looking person with little or no confidence yet I've had far far far far more women interested in me than I deserve to ;) Not complaining though!

I'm actually so rich now though :)

Will soon have that fecking motorbike if I keep earning this much! :p lol

I'm trying to force it all out of my mind by doing other things, I find I think about it all most when I'm on my own or at work, I'm hanging out with friends again that I had lost contact with because I never had time to see the girlfriend and them so I spent all my time with her (mistake).

I guess that's what makes it hard too because she was my girlfriend and my best friend so I feel like I didn't have anyone else to spend my time with to take my mind off it :)

Use guys have been great and have helped me cope better with some of your good advice ... The bad advice made me laugh :p

Spending time with her wasn't a mistake per se, the worst thing you can do is look back at it all and forget all the nice things that happened. They were nice, but it ended for whatever reason. But don't destroy the nice things that you had.

Losing your best friend like that is ****. No two ways about it.

My friends told me that :)

But what they think doesn't matter when your getting laid most nights :) ... Only when your not getting it anymore do you realise you made a mistake :O lol

Just bombed through this thread (partially ignoring the essay posts apart from the 8 rules one) and Ive been through a very similar situation as to what youve been through Kerr...
I was with my ex for 10 months.. I couldnt have been happier, we were all lovey dovey and couply and then all of a sudden she started acting wierd around me, being all quiet, not holding hands, asking wierd questions. Then one day I got fed up of being ignored by her (I waited for 3 days for a text/call) and asked her what was up and why she was acting wierd.... "I think your cheating on me.."

Ive never been a person to have huge trust in a girl, but for her to come out and throw 10 months of a relationship back in my face by accusing me of something like that!! Needless to say I was furious. We argued about it for a while and we broke up (my decision as she obviously had no trust in me).

Because we had been together for best part of a year, I missed her like crazy! I saw her everywhere, statuses on facebook, twitter ect. Tbh, for a week for 2 after breaking up with her I, feelings were still there and we occasionally text.
I then found out from a friend that she was going out with someone else... After 2 weeks!
I did some snooping and found out that they had been meeting up for a few months and getting to know each other!
I cant say I wasnt angry but there was nothing I could have done to make the situation any better for my self being an innocent party.
So I went out and got plastered, and I mean paraletic! Woke up the next morning with 3 new numbers on my phone and a couple of cheeky pics on facebook of me 'Turnin on the ol' charm'.

Since then ive had several pants relationships that ended rather rapidly but I learnt a big and valuable lesson..
Dont let women take you for a fool.

(Essay reply ftw.... :D )

The more you do something the easier it becomes,
Why would you not talk to them?
the worst they can do is fob you off or ignore you, And so what?
Women love direct men,
I used to be like that but one day forced myself to talk to a random women on the train which led to 2 fantastic years with her :D
After i talked to that girl it became kind of a rush to approach them (y)
As for the confidence thing, try a couple things for the next few days, hold your head high and look people in the eye when you talk and see what happens, people and females treat you soooo much differently, how can any one respect you if you cant even look them in the eye?
