If any of you are in the building trade maybe you can help me out. I started to replace all the skirting boards in my house a few years ago for natural pine Torus ones. The first ones I bought were from Focus, who then went bust. They are Torus on side and Ogee on the other. I used the Torus side. I managed to find single sided Torus ones in B&Q after that which were the same height but I have one room left to do and cant get the right size anywhere. They are 137mm tall. I can find 120 and 170 but not this size. Anything close within a few mm would be fine but I just cant seem to get them anywhere. So wondered if you guys know of anywhere before I get a different style for one room.

Your going to have a job.......

there are over 20 patterns for Torus that i know of (we have racks and racks of cutters for everything under the sun at work)

Shame your not local...

you need to find a contract saw mill or local machine shop..

at work we have a cad system for profile making the profile is cut into a template and then the template is used to make several tool steel cutters with a special grinder.... which are then mounted to a cutting block which then goes into a machine like this

you will often find them unwilling to make cutters up for a few lenghts but take an off cut of the skirting you have with you and they can show you the cutters they have and you should get something close ;)

Oooooo a Profi :D

I did a modification to one of those a few years back so you couldn't open the lid until all of the blades had stopped. You want to keep your digits well clear of that bad boy, unless of course you want them skirting shapped...

As for skirting mine has removable caps for hiding wiring... back OT.
