Ouija Boards

It's all BS!

Playing with vunerable minds. Sounds good fun to me. I live in one of the most haunted places in the country so scaring the crap out of curious visitors is brilliant.

p.s. previous owner of our house hung himself on our staircase (y)

Whats that pub called near you that is supposedly haunted , i know its on a corner cos ive been for me sunday lunch before, i just forget the name

Tbf I made a point of staying in haunted places for halloween...I used to do whitby goth weekend and stay at pubs in the back of beyond...and despite wandering round in the dark on halloween in haunted places never saw anything...moved to lord crewe arms in blanchland for the last year i did and still nothing and that was a former monastry that had been ramsacked by reivers and supposedly has 3 ghosts or summat...

mates did a ouija board got bored burnt it...

lots of places like that say there haunted just to get people to come there... it obviosly works from what you just said (y)
like them ghost programs on tv where they stay over night... see crap all or maybe a few creeks or orbes. but the pub gets its name said lots of times so people go there "cos its been on tv"
Also the thing with humans is if you take away one sense (sight) the other senses take over so you will hear or feel things you wouldnt usualy notice and imagination can take over your sight. I see no reason why you must look for ghosts or sprits in the dark or at night.

Like some staff being near the back door and a smell of perfume appears and goes almost instantly when only one staff member is there. Files falling off shelves, one lad was tapped on the shoulder when nobody was stood near him and tbh, ive felt as though theres been someone stood at the office door breathing on me but theres only me about as i have cctv screen next to me

sounds like a draft to me!

they are a load of BS.

we did one a few years back with some people who i consider to be the jokers, the life of a party, and it was just a bunch of arse- loads of childish humour and mum jokes

three of us decided to try it without the others and agreed not to push the glass. naff all happened

'If' there are dangers in using ouija boards etc its not what you will visually see thats potentially dangerous (white sheet floating, headless corpse etc) but its within your own mind, in other words the 'monsters' created by your own mind.

If you want to try it it, try it but go into it with your eyes open as to what might happen from other people's experiences.

Personally I'm not a believer - I used to be when I was younger but nothing ever happened to me to make me believe and when I drifted out of that group of friends, I lost any interest.

I find it hard to believe personally, even though my ma and her 3 sisters tried it when they were teenagers. My ma aint a liar and neither are my aunts and they all tell the same tale.

Apparently it "told" them that my ma would marry a sailor, have two sons and a daughter, but the daughter would die. Of course they all thought it was crap so started to take the p!ss a bit. When they eventually asked who they were taliking to it repeatedly spelled out "darkness darkness darkness darkness" then "be careful be careful". They all thought it was the others cocking about and started to blame each other. In the end it simply spelled out "too late".

Some years later my ma married my dad after he finished his 9 years in the royal navy. 2 years later my brother was born. 2 years after that I was born. And 4 years after that my sister was stillborn.

So,

married a sailor
had 2 sons
and a daughter who would die.

Ok, could be a coincidence. Could be a tale made up by my ma and sisters, but when they talk about even now I can see that they themselves clearly believe it, and they all say they remember it like it was yesterday. Thay all remember it the same way - all the details of the story match whichever one of them I ask. Only thing is none of them know what the "too late" bit related to. My grandad died a couple of years later but he wasn't the healthiest by all accounts.

So there it is. Make your own minds up. Like I said, I have all this information from primary witnesses and I still find it hard to believe. Fcuked if I'm gonna try it though!

Tbf we went out on the p*** for halloween and decided we might as well try it :)

We also stayed at a holiday inn one year but the headless horseman in the bathroom scared me so I stuck to haunted places after that.
