Ouija Boards

It's all BS!
p.s. previous owner of our house hung himself on our staircase (y)
You don't think he read one of my posts or replies do you? My own experience
in this field was in about 1975 when I was at a party when someone got a board out. It did move about a bit but I could never work out if someone was pushing the glass about. Just when we thought it was a load of rubbish there was an enormous bang which caused the girls to scream and at least one of the lads experienced a "partial bowel movement". In the end it turned out to be only a naked homosexual jumping from an upstairs window and landing on the garage roof. What? Oh, no it wasn't that kind of party. In actual fact he was trying to get away from a leather clad biker. Oh God; it gets worse. Look,
what happened was the biker thought the gay lad was having it away with his
girlfriend. The biker's GF that is and.....You probably wouldn't believe me if I told you.

i could forgive people for believing in stupid things like ghosts, goblins, angels, fairies, magic, witchcraft and god hundreds of years ago when they really were too thick to know any better, but these days i cant forgive it and i think belief in such things should be illegal and punishable.

ignorance has been taken advantage of so many times in the past, we really need to stamp it out and finally allow human society to enter the age of information. it will happen eventually, i wont live to see it but one day human ignorance will be dealt with. its a natural and neccessary step in the evolution of our society. without it we can not progress any further.

Its all boll0x(y)

although my mum did go to a spiritualist and he told her things that were literally impossible to know about her dad:confused:

the con artist doesnt need to know anything, your mother knows for him.
all info comes from the victim, not the con artist.

the trick is obtaining that info without your victim realising.
its a technique that can be taugh, but some people are just naturally good at it.

thats another thing that should be illegal, offering card readings or palm readings or any kind of spiritual guidance. its all a big con to take money from weak minded tards.

then again, taking money from tards isnt a bad thing, its a natural flow. a fool and their money are soon parted.

:yeahthat:

And in my book that includes religions. Nothing more than myth and hearsay mixed with a good dose of Chinese Whispers. If so called 'normal' people started saying they believed that some bloke made the world in 6 days, then sent his son (exactly who was the mother?) down to perform miracles but couldn't stop him from being brutally murdered, then his son was raised from the dead a few days later to live for eternity they'd be taken as insane. Throw in virgin births (liar, she was obviously sleeping around!) and a psychedelic couple called Adam and Eve then the whole thing begins to look even more ridiculous. And this is only Christianity, most other religions are as bad or worse.

Man flu - it makes you see the world as it really is! :dead:

watch derren brown - messiah, or most things by derren brown. then look up "cold reading"

how much crap did this boke say that has been ignored and forgotten because it wasn't relevant?

usually in a situation like that they use vital clues combined with the law of averages.

for example if you know the date of the wedding, and his age/profession and social class, then there are only 3 or 4 likely choices of formal footwear he would be wearing so guessing isnt diffiuclt. its easier than guessing which way a dice will fall.

they get 1 thing right and 10 things wrong, but all people go on about is the 1 correct guess. surely the bigger clue about these people is how many times they get it wrong.

i have listened to several tapes from these sessions, and tbh i find it difficult to believe that people can so easily ignore the blatantly obvious tactics that are in use. i suspect many people ignore the obvious on purpose because they enjoy it, and some people are just thick.
