As
Hi,
Anyone found the location of the elusive SGW module?
2020 Ducato,
Currently I’ve all the lower dash removed,
Cannot see anything resembling a module with the two connections of the SGW bypass cable
I dont know if anyone else can help as it seems Rolopolo hasn't been seen for a while. At the start of his thread is a picture if a dimantled glove box/dash. The cable hanging down has obviously been trapped where the front panel screws onto the bracket behind it. Does anybody know what that cable is?

On my UK 2022 Ducato the SGW is mounted behind the glove box on the left hand side of the vehicle. To get access you need to remove the glove box completely and the SGW is bolted to the back of the glove box panel.

linknet, Thank you
I have a 2020 Ducato so hopefully if there is one there at all it will be in the same place. I would really like someone with Multescuan to plug into the OBD port and tell me if there is a SWG before I start removing things or ordering from Gendan. Iv'e been asking around at the Warners shows but no luck so far.
Is your Ducato A Motorhome or PVC?
Another reason for my posting is that on the picture at the start of the thread a cable can be seen hanging down that has been pinched between one of the dashboard fixings and slightly damaged. A cable on my van has suffered the same fate at some time in its previous ownership and although I have released it and all seems well I would rather like to know what the cable is for. Any ideas.

Thanks again for your input.

My 2022 Ducato is a Devon Aztec XL so it's a PVC.

That cable looks like an aftermarket addition and although I don't have anything exactly like that I have one cable from the tracker routed through in that corner into the engine compartment which connects to, and immobilises, the starter solenoid. There's also one on the drivers side through into the engine compartment for the alarm siren.

I have Multiecuscan but live in the South East so a long way from you so can't help there.

Removing the glove compartment once you manage to drop down the front cover is relatively easy, just a number of torx screws, and it pulls off towards you with the SGW, if you have one, attached to the back.
