Hi I does anyone know the location of the airbag ecu in the van?
Also my van has been rewired works fine but it has left the airbag light on there are multiple unplugged wires including the seat belt wires.
I know this could fix the issue of the warning light if the seat belt wires were reconnected but I’m frightened to plug them in in case something blows up? Or I set the airbag off
Any advice would be a great help thanks

Disconnect the battery and just plug the airbags in or reattach the wires, if they've been cut make absolutely sure you get the right colours to the right colours.
Also make sure your connections are made well, airbags draw a high current when you need them.
Why didn't whoever 'rewired' the van reattach these cables?

In answer to the first question, l,ook at floor level under the plastic cover that surrounds the lower end of the steering column.

All the harness's are there so it’s just a matter of plugging back in. If I plug them back in is there a chance of setting the airbag off or damaging the circuits? I assume that they’ve been left unplugged for a good reason? Thanks

Repeat: disconnect the battery , plug them all back in and reconnect the battery.

If the wiring is undamaged, and crucially the crash/airbag module is located and fixed down in it's correct position in the vehicle , the bags won't go off.

The crash/airbag module must be in it's correct position and orientation.
