Hello, I wonder if anyone can help.
Earlier on today during heavy rain I drove through a rather large puddle that was unavoidable and it caused my fuel return cooling radiator to rip from the body and dangle on the road. None of the fuel lines have broken and I have not seen any leaks, however the car immediately went into limp mode (I think) and now I can’t drive above about 40mph.
Acceleration is very slow and the throttle does almost nothing. Once stopped it will rev to about 2500rpm but under load it barely revs above 1000rpm. I’ve secured the cooler back up under the body and will be attaching it when I’m able to get under it properly but does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing the loss of power in every gear?
Many thanks.
