Okay so my car is starting to rust on both sides of the side panels of the car. What should I do? Just those cheap rust repair care kits? Or get someone to repair it.
How much would it be to get this repaired? I know you can get a new panel for like 40-70, how much would a respray for it be?

That's if you can convince your dealer that it is worth the paper it is written on.

I've never had to deal with fiat yet. Are they a pain like that?

Fiat will look at that and say its stone damage, and tell you to go away.

Anti perforation, so there has to be a hole through the entire panel from one side to the other

TBH that doesn't look normal. Have you owned the car from new? Looks like a very poor previous repair which is starting to come through the paint - perhaps a poor pattern part wing fitted

I have only had the car for around 5months. What should I do? how much would it cost to repair too? At the moment, they are bubbles atm. And if you pop them, it's just rust underneath

Personally if mine, I'd replace both wings with Genuine OEM Fiat parts and have them painted, once rust is in a panel, and the way its coming through on that one, replacement is the only easy option.

Decent job with surrounding panels blended in, anywhere from £200-£500 depending upon the place and quality of work. Body shop might be able to get away without blending, but they're best to advise.

It won't be cheap though.

Ive never seen a GP rusting there before... most of that area is open space behind too so doubt its damp going through from the back.. From the pic i could be wrong due to the clarity but looks like the gap between the sill and the wing is on the pee.. so could be a "new" wing... after market parts are often not galvanised like OEM parts

I second cheap repair. Modern Fiats simply don't rust within 10 years.
