Someone has a good day lined up tomorrow! Have fun!
Did i have fun today? Well...
Stupid bloody Italians.
That took 5 hours 15 minutes, shoulda been 1 hour 15 minutes. Due mainly with the weather, also due to Turin... or wherever the thing was designed.
Here it was spitting, rain then nothing all in 20 minute cycles. So I'd run out, dump the oil, run in, run out, take the oil filter off etc. I used the entire can (500ml) of brake cleaner on the air box. It was covered in more oil and mayonaisse than an Americans arse.
Sometime later...
Wanted to figure out the battery light, checked the voltage with everything running, 14.5 volts. I discovered when I was greasing everything a mystery part sat loose on the gearbox, it's part-wired into the headlight... it is currently tie-wrapped to the washer bottle due to premature anger, because of a stupid design feature coming up. <_<
Ah I know, i'll fix the steering wheel and therefore the indicators. I take the wheel off, which takes longer than expected, because of two pointless screws holding the center on, I moved the wheel a couple of splines, I can see the indicator stalk is working beautifully... then the fun begins.
Battery plugged back in, indicate right, turn the wheel right, all is well. Indicate left, turn the wheel left
UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH hello my little annoying stupid horn.
I assume, that I tightened the amazing center cap screws on too tight causing the horn to make every neighbour think i'm a ****. I slackened the screws, one fell out, took 6 days to get it back in. By 'back-in', I mean 1/4 of a thread.
Does it still like to blow it's own horn when I turn? No ****ing idea, I locked it up and now i'm eating a bag of crisps.
Got the V5 today, 5 previous owners and the last guy had it just over a year.
