General Random questions

Hi all, couple of random questions for you.
1) do the headlight units have a vent hole anywhere on them?
Some idiot...(me) didnt put the bulb cover back on correctly and now one is full of damp, been using the headlights all the time to try and dry it out, wanted to make sure it wasnt blocked, stopping the warm damp air escaping.

2) on the door cards can the coloured insert (pictured) be removed seperately?
Have a chance to get a much less worn set of seats, blue instead of yellow, wanted the inserts to match.
I know that i could change the whole door pannel....however mine are the light gray, the others are the dark gray.

Lights tend to be sealed..

Put an absorbent 'sock' in there if parked up..


Doorcards are..err 'card'.
The rest is plastic.. so should be demountable

Do you have a glue gun?

there's no drain


combination of hairdryer and the heat of the light normally dries them out fairly quickly if you leave the rear cover off completely

Dont have a glue gun, a trip to screwfix could solve that, maybe time for a bit of arts and crafts home school.

The cloth trim part of the door card is attached with heat mounted plastic rivets. You could probably remove it but risk scrapping the whole thing. That said, used door trims are cheap enough to experiment with.

Always make sure the plastic sheet that ruled to the door is not damaged. That's all you have to stop the trim going mouldy at the back.
