I have 17" wheels on my car now, have a 15" spare (which was a full size spare when i was running on 15's), the rolling diameter is slightly different when you put the spare next to one of the 17s...

is it safe to use this as a spare wheel? or should i just get rid and get some tyre seal/ gunk stuff?

should be ok but if you have a front go you need to put one of the rear wheels onto the front and the spare on the rear. if you dont youll knacker your diff and it will drive crap (not that you should do over 45(iirc) on a space saver)

tire things wont always work. if you get a punture while moving there is a VERY good chance the rim of the wheel slices the side wall.

best thing to do.... lob out the spare (saves weight so better mpg) and make sure you have recovery.

as long as the car didnt have a spare from the factory
if it did its fitment is in the required T&C's of the breakdown cover

Funny you should say that...It's got a 7995 sign in the boot too...They obviously just gave me a pre-valeting car off the forecourt!

I have an LUK clutch and preasure plate from a scrap yard. Do you think someone will buy it? The clutch dosnt look like its seen many miles.

If i was buying a clutch, i'd obviously know what i was looking at so could buy a second hand one and save some money!

Personally i'd always buy fiat / valeo when buying clutches I know its going to last then.
