lol. I blame it on the fact that its a close up, I should have taken a pic from one end of the high street to the other, seems this DRL poll has turned against me and Stilio.

Ah well, you win some, you lose some. It passes the time of day atleast until I go back to college:D

My display pic is what I'd determin at excellent visability!

I should explain, Im a train driver and have to drive at 100mph in zero visibility sometimes... so my conception of visibilty is different to yours I expect:) And yes we go where the tracks take us, but still have to find speed restrictions, sations and signal using our nose and experience.

I forgot my usual side-point in such arguments by the way. I'm not talking about visibility around town or where there is street lighting. I'm talking about being able to see a car the same colour as the road perhaps up to a mile away in dull conditions and knowing whether it's safe to overtake (a line of cars where there's no chance of pulling in anywhere in said line if there does happen to be an oncoming car) or pull out of a junction. You would be amazed at the difference even sidelights make to this, they are clearly visible at such distances. OK there are some blind gits round here who can't judge or pull out regardless but I have good eyesight and can't judge in the above conditions!

I saw one the otherday...I assumed he had an electrical fault cos he had what looked like fogs on with no sides or rear lights...

Some DRL's run without rear lights, like mine, its how I fitted them as I've been told its legal when I found out, but typically DRLs are within the headlight unit, or mounted around the headlight unit if aftermarket like mine.

Were the ones you saw low in the bumper, where fogs are normally fitted?
