Technical Punto HGT track preparation

Hi,

I‘m wanting to do some track days in my Punto HGT, it is going to get some race front brake pads and semi slick tyres for starters.

Can anyone who has experience in putting an HGT on the frack share any of their knowledge.

ie any oil starvation or surge issues.

No direct knowledge per se, but it does depend what you're doing, if its going to be a dedicated track car you can go made lightening it by removing anything not needed like all the interior trim and carpets.
you'll probably need to fit towing eyes front and rear in case of an off. You could go for fully adjustable suspension set ups and light weight wheels etc.

Just depends on what you want to do, if you're just getting started then probably start with what ever the minimum requirements are for the track or event and then see what you need from there.
As I said above they almost always want you to have towing eyes fitted at all times.
