if some one needs the seats more than i, then they can have them. as it goes i can make do with fallout's original seats. though i will have to dip them in boiling water to try and get the smell from them. oh and the mould

if no one else needs them, then they can be bought to me at any time. im not in a rush.

same goes for any other panda related "waste"

I will need a rear seat for the mot as the seat belts are still there - I'll rob the fittings off Fizzle for the day as they are absent too.

I will, eventually, have a slightly tatty front set from Hal -- mixing and matching with those kindly provided by Palio: who has the matching dash and rear seats. However, the fronts are currently at VmanC's; and I won't be collecting them until after Christmas, now -- and we still have to sort out which two are best....

I will let panda panda panda (can you pick a short name, next time, please...?!) and Dragon Man fight it out as to who needs them most -- and Palio can be the judge: as they were his, originally...!

I still owe you Dragon Man) a parcel shelf and strings, though, for Talon -- which I still aim to bring up the weekend after Christmas Day, if that's okay...?

Everyone's being far too nice to each other, rather than saying they want them!

Stephen doesn't need the rear seat, so the 2 John's will have to fight it out. Dragon Man has the first chance and of course can put together a completely matching set if that suits the project. One way or the other there's enough bits for PPP ( :devil: ) to have a rear seat.

I think we're back to the Panda jousting idea to sort this out - someone make it work & I'll sell the idea to CH5 or Dave

John.. umm.. CLS... PPP.. err.. the master of fizzle, the seats are yours mate..

im not too fussed about matching sets. so long as some how i have 4 seats.

ive been looking at the original ones. the metal frames need welding as both the front seats have snapped! but i can fix them.

the most easy way to deal with all this is for me just to say that i do not need any seats. (and i dont really.. this project is years away from any kind of interior rebuild!)

and tbh. if stuff hits the fan... and its getting close. it would be just more things i would have to get rid of, should we have to move house.

this should make it more easy.

Ta Jon, I just need a rear bench for the MOT which is probably a few months down the line anyways, Fallouts, Homies or Palios will do - will probably make it a van anyway to carry all the spare wheels an shizzle eventually so it could just be a loan even.

Nope. My insurers asked and I told them about the mouse that lived in the back seat and they were happy to class Peterborough as a two seater.

so as most know, i have no idea the registration of this grey panda.
i do not have a v5 for it but i am now looking at getting it now i have a teeny tiny bit of money.

i have 2 registrations to go on.

"G135 EOX" from windscreen
and
"G590 KUG" from what i can make out on the tax disk. though it is very water damaged.

checking here (http://www.carcheckuk.co.uk) results in "G135 EOX" as being a panda bella.

"G590 KUJ" comes up with nothing. KOJ comes up with a Mini Mayfair.

however. checking on another site comes up with:

May be in another place on the mk2 bit on the mk1 its the plate you can see on the left hand side of this picture (silver plate 17 character number i believe)

Its the one on the strut tower, the riveted on plate on the front panel is some sort of barcode, presumably used during manufacture. Also as goodgirl says it is on the ID plate on the inner wing.

Your best bet is to HPI check it with just the VIN, will give you all the details you need then, and tell you if it has been scrapped etc.

Getting logbooks is scarily easy. Pay your 25 quid and write the registration on the right form then you're away.
I had a Cabstar truck which 3 times (In one year) was registered to someone else and I had to get a replacement V5.
