have to remember aswell its an non public used road so they cant say its a highly used road that was needing repaired

best thing is, technically it hasn't even been repaired, it's been totally resurfaced from the ground up from mud and gravel to tarmac. its so smooth at that part now it's almost racetrack perfect
must have cost alot to do that, according to the council though theres never been a problem ther :laugh:

if their has been a complaint they usually look into it and if it does need fixing they usually get on to it. its not a admision that the pot holes were at fault its just they are not allowed to ignore complaints.
tbh your lucky if you ever get any money from them as im pretty sure they will just say its illikely the potholes were at fault (unless its snapped other springs before?) from potholes tracking or the rim are 99% the victims.

Holy thread resurection batman!
got bored late this afternoon so went up and just took a hammer to the cinq........
with good purpose though :laugh:
started hammering out the buckled sill today, actually made nice and surprising progress , in hammering out the part where there was a small buldge sideways, the bent outer shell dropped back down a little. it's at a point where i think the thin shell can be pulled out vaguely flat again with a creative use of tools if not i'll just get the whole thing cut out but tbh i want a go at this first just to see how it progresses
going to start on the engine some time this week, think i know what's wrong with it, if so it'll be back not sounding like a steamboat soon

and we're back
now has suspension stripped, engine hopefully sorted and bumper off......
mega pissed off though, turns out my gsr has been nicked too it WAS there when the police were talking to me, so it's gone in the 4 hours after that when the garage was only semi locked and the police were around...work that one out!

knowing the gsr has gone too now makes me want to get rid of the garage tbh, that leads to alot of other problems though
Sakes, so that 1x Delsol Manifold Stolen & 1x SPI GSR Induction Kit Stolen.... police aren't worth the money they get paid.

went up and gave it a fire up, still running like a sack of tatties
if i take leads off the first coil nothing changes, second coil kills the engine. it's sparking well enough but changed coild pack anyway, ran slightly better but still like a tug boat, hopefully the problem lies with the spark plugs being gummed up with crap and not giving a good spark caused by the timing belt snapping and lots of stuff coating internals because it never got properly burnt
couldn't inspect further because the roof then blew off my garage.......

eddie is out too, DHL have messed up the delivery of parts (ie couldnt be bothered) so the earliest im getting the bits for it is Thursday now , short of it arriving 8am thursday morning, spending all day fitting, getting it booked in to mot it on Friday then it's not happening
