hi, one day without going on the forum and you have all been busy! thanks vernon for posting the pictures. sorry guys but i just don't like the pale blue and i am not keen on the suggestion of orange.i had a red panda which eventually went a bit orange so i've been there. love the pictures but i will stay as pandawoman and not morph into a bat.

black it will be unless anyone can convince me otherwise.

i am not that hot on computers and hope i am using this forum ok.....let me know if i am supposed to be doing anything else or anything differently.

letters in registration number will be easy to remember TMV ... initially i thought of the mighty vehicle...but perhaps it should be treated, modified,(by)vernon. see i am just as daft as the rest of you....i feel quite at home.

Hi Julie,

You don't need to do anything differently, you're doing just fine. (y)

Well maybe apart from saying things like ' unless you can convince me otherwise'.

Oh and putting up suggestions for what the no. plate could stand for.

I can hear the cogs in thier brains working from here, and before you know it this thread will be 20 pages long before a single screw is removed. :p ;)

Now Vern, don't you think your time would be better spent getting another Panda back on the road :p

TMV - The Mighty Vern
TMV - Too Many Variables
TMV - Tiny Minute Variations

I think the Panda would look fantastic in Chillout Purple, dark enough to be nearly black but different enough to turn heads, but then its not mine and I'm not footing the bill (y)

Black's good on a Panda (y) I'd seriously consider a subtle metallic though - the Abarth one is good as I said, looks normal black until you get close or the sun picks up the fleck.

Glad you're going daft enough to feel at home!! Speaking of which I'd be tempted to call the Panda Tim or Timothy - TiMoVy you see - I know, I've got my coat.......

Vern, a bit off topic, but if you've got or had a recent chest infection, be v careful with using any paints / rust inhibitors etc that can get on your chest and make it much worse very quickly.
Sorry to be a nanny, but better be safe than sorry.

ok vern point taken, i am not familiar with abarth black or chill out purple....maybe need to look at these....i really will need your advice on this one. i was looking at the thread about the paw print badges, and you know what i am going to say next, i think they could look really good on bucket (or timovy).

Palio, scout500, got any pics of these colours? :)

Only if they were black too. :p

At the end of the day it's your Panda and it will be you driving it around so you must make sure it is as you want it to be, I will just do the work. (y)

Hi Vernon,

I've uploaded a few into my albums & also the Coupe for comparison. A few below but more in the albums to avoid boring folk too much! I've put one with a black Panda - you'll see what I mean about it still looking black until you are closer (subtle!). The Coupe is met ink black but looks very dark blue in certain light (indoors or full sun) - you will see that next to a standard black Alfa/Tipo this doesn't look black - on its own it does though!!

Killed the discussion there though when you see how good Ms Long's plain old black Panda looks all polished up:yum:

You can see for yourself next week at Coleford as its the colour of my 500. Pictures just don't do it justice. In the dull weather its still purple but very dark and then when the sun shines it just Zings.

Yes I was aware of that, but Julie won't be there. I guess I can take some pics then and try and catch the right light, it will be sunny won't it? (y)
