Every panel should be a different colour.

Like this, you mean...?

Apologies to both pandawoman, and those with sensitivities to automotiveness that isn't purely Italian....

...and to VmanC: who's probably wondering if there's any way of locking member's motors threads....

i did have a seciento that was white and looked a bit boring,so i had it resprayed starting with red at the bottom and then it went through orange, yellow, cream and into white. roof was left white.....sorry guys i dont have any pics....it looked brilliant....it was sprayed by a friends husband who usually does paint spraying on classic bikes. he faded the colours into each other so well that you couldn't see where one ended and the next started.

Pandawoman,
You do know don't you that there are many shades of black to choose from!
Henry Ford wasn't quite right about 'you can have any colour so long as its black'.

hi dave, yes i know black isn't just black.........i said to vernon that understated as in subtle is what i would like....i will leave it to him from here on. i have probably tried his patience enough by now.
further thoughts on :TMV"....total money vacuum or top modified vehicle.i am going to have hours of fun with this.

I reckon MTV is the best way to look at it.....
Do you know what it is yet?

Money To Vern

He's probably has a Swiss Bank Account as he drinks Carlesburg!

I've had three black cars and for that reason I would not have another. They look fantastic when they are clean and horrible when they are dirty so you can't drive them and they remain clean which in my mind defeats the object of having a car in the first place. Just my twopenneth worth ;)

This post is mainly for Julie (Pandawoman).

I picked up the badges today :). Now although it's just about the last job to fit them I thought I'd trial fit them now, using Charmania as a guinea pig so that you have plenty of time to decide where you'd like them. As a start point I've put them where I thought was your suggested place........

Is this ok?

I'm waiting for these too - ordered last week for Mum's Panda and some for myself. They said 5 days, but they are coming from Italy!!

Not sure where I'm putting them - I assume the mk2 door pillar (the mk4 has them there in the pics) is too narrow Vernon? If it is, I was thinking rear side panel (C pillar?). I'm clearly not the only mk2 Panda owner to think the paw badges will suit it! (y) They get a bit pricey when you buy 3 sets plus mk4 mats though.....

My local dealer had to get them from Italy too, I've got a second set but don't know what I'm going to use them on yet.

They come with a positioning template for the Mk4 'B' post so you'll be fine fitting them to your Mums Panda. I think the 'C' pillar or 'A' panel are the best options for the Mk2, you're right in thinking that the 'B' pillar is too narrow.

That's useful - might get them in the right place if there's a template!!

Shame they won't go on the "B". Can't help feeling it doesn't work near to the indicator as too cluttered - in the photo at least - of course everyone is free to disagree and doubtless will in no uncertain terms (y)

Yeah it does look a little cluttered, maybe if it was higher it would be better.

I'm thinking of splitting my pair and just having one on the tailgate of two Pandas.
