General Program fiat scudo key fob after battery change

Hi, what steps do I need to take in order to re program my key fob to my van?

As far as I am aware this can only be done at main dealer-and at a price!

This should only be needed if the circuit board in the key fob needs replacing...otherwise just a new battery installed and it should work-otherwise suspect the two micro switches may be faulty?

Thanks. The auto switches look fine to me but the dead battery was left in there for so long as the council never bothered changing it (so I was told when I bought it). Dnt kno maybe that has affected the remote locking program.

the FIAT CODE
4 ( or 5) digit code that is used to key in replacement keys to cars body computer,
@ £20 / £30 from FIAT if you've not got a copy..,

you'll need access to a machine that plugs into the vehicles socket ( same as fault code socket),

then you key in the keys in a set order..,

MultiECU Scan MAY do this..?? look at site.. http://www.autolocksltd.com/car-manufacturers/fiat-lost-car-keys/

ask local auto locksmiths - should be cheapest. then FIAT / Alfa indy's with FIAT EXAMINER software,
main dealers as a last resort
