well seeing as the brakes arnt ducted, and the discs are not vented.....the cooling abilities wont be that good

Lol well im having the brake discs done after christmas i mean its not bad just have to apply a little more pressure. The squealing seems to come and go do you think that is the brake dust from the pads? Seeing as the hubcap is mucky too could possibly be dirt or a trapped small stone? With only 20 posts to your name you'll not have noticed that mpre posts go off topic in here than actually manage to stay on topic.

To answer the OPs problem, check the back brakes too. They have a bearing on pedal travel.
