Technical power problems

a mate asked me to look at thier multipla about a week a go.

The problem only occurs on and off and is always accompanied by what looks like an injector warning light. The car stutters as soon as the light comes on which makes it hard to accelerate.

They took it to a garage who plugged it in to the fault reader which came up with well over 10 faults. they havent got a clue what it is but my mate is going on holiday in about a weeks time and would like this sorted.

I reckon it could be one or more of those 10 "faulty things.

Seriously though, perhaps a bit more of exploration of the individual faults might shed some light

Probably not what you will want to hear, i had a similar problem - almost like the engine was going into shut-down, i spoke to a friend at the local dealership and was advised that it may be an airflow meter problem - ouch!
