My daughter has a 2016 Ford Ka 1.2. (exact same engine as Fiat 500)
The car runs perfect but has the EML flashing constantly.
Diagnostic code is P1300 phonic wheel relearn not executed after crankshaft sensor replaced.
I have tried the relearn procedure (rev up to 6000rpm 3 times when engine at 80 degrees) but the code will not clear and EML remains flashing.
Tried also to do a relearn with Launch tool and also Multieuscan.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as how this can be fixed ?

Thanks.

Thanks, I have already tried the above procedure several times but no joy and yes it is the full version of multieuscan.

Is it possible then that the code means somethig else a quick google suggests it’s not just phonic wheel errors.
Is it MES giving you that code?

Why was the sensor replaced? Did the fault code come up before you replaced it?
The sensor was replaced as i was unable to do the relearn, no specific code regarding crank sensor.
The relearn was required due to having to reset adaption paramaters concerning a seperate engine issue.

What was the other engine issue and how was it I rectified please? How was the other engine issue identified? Presumably the 1300code came up after that?

Car going into limp mode constantly, diagnosed with smoke test, inlet manifold leaking so was replaced along with replacement throttle body, car now running perfect except for pesky flashing eml. No p1300 code previous.

Is it possible it’s this?

P1300 OBD-II Engine Trouble Code is Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent.

Thanks.
I did have that fault but the code was P1220 not P1300 and when I changed throttle body the code P1220 could be erased.
Took the car to Auto electric/diagnostics specialist but they could only do the same as I have been doing concerning the relearn and getting the same dreaded P1300 “phonic wheel relearn not executed”
Stumped 🤔

I can't help feeling the, original, problem was slightly mis diagnosed and now its causing apparent faults that's compounding the issue? If you can go to a Fiat specialist, not a dealer, tell them exactly what has happened what's been replaced and all the codes that have come up in order, print them off and leave in car?

Thanks.I did the smoke leak test myself and can confirm the smoke was severely leaking from inlet manifold. When the manifold was changed had the throttle body fault appear whih was replaced. car ran perfect then was advised to do relearn of replacement componenets and this is when the problem occured, reset adaptive parameters all ok till tried to do phonic wheel then sh*t hit the fan. On the plus side the car can be used as normal as long as you can ignore the flashing eml light.

Did you do a rest procedure before the phonicwheel procvedures

Inlet manifold leaking was the evapouration solenoid and canister on our Panda, Unfortunately codes do not point directly at the right issue on every occasion, We had constant limp home and EML and changing these parts sorted us out, The Fiat diagnostic went straight to the root of the problem and proved correct, Fiat parts are exceptionally expensive so I would suggest try and find an alternative if it is this issue. On this occasion MES did not identify our fault,
