Having not owned a 319 for a few years now, I spotted a lovely little Cross that I liked yesterday and bought it!

In my old 319 I had the Fiat phone holder that slots in the dash which was excellent. I see these are now pretty expensive new but there are replicas available on eBay that looks the same for about £40.

Has anybody tried one of the eBay replica units? If so, are they any good?

Thank you,

Matt.

No idea about the phone holder - I'm just about to buy my first smart phone - but hey, you can't make a post like this without showing us a photo of the new car? (y):giggle:

Haha thank you. I don't collect it until tomorrow and they have already taken all of the ads down so sadly I have no photos yet!

It's a 2020 in Grigio Cemento with just 16k on the clock but still had one or two services per year including oil changes from new so I hope it is a good one!

Being the twin air, that confirmation of regular attention and particularly oil changes, is very reassuring. Is the book stamped by a main dealer?

Yes all main dealer. It isn't quite my perfect spec as it is missing the Comfort Pack (rear grab handles really help when using a dog liner on the back seat) but it has everything else on it including the all important Winter Pack. The extremely regular oil changes persuaded me to compromise in favour of history.

I'd have made the same call. Hope all goes well and you enjoy the new car.

I succumbed to ordering a new Fiat item. It would still be useful to hear any opinions on the replica phone holders for the benefit of anybody else with the same conundrum though as the price difference is quite significant - and to make me regret spending the extra!

Ebay looks to be oem

I've used these for more than 10 years, fit into cd players so don't mess with vision. Will take a large phone in a full protection case.
I've even got an adapted one on the wall in my pool room for a Bluetooth speaker.
Ebay, make of product is YOSHI never moves or falls out and not broken one yet.
Still only £6.99 now paid 3.99 each for 2 probably 14 years ago and bought one for 4.99 10 years ago.
Superb product in my opinion.
