Technical Panda Cross failed viscous housing

I have a 2010 diesel Panda Cross 4 x 4 169 with a failed viscous coupling. On this model the coupling housing forms the front section of the diff assembly.Has anyone had one of these couplings out of the casing and taken it apart and are the linings of the coupling replaceable? Any information would be great. The unit appears to be manufactured by Magna Steyr but i am unable to get any information from them. John

Is yours the early type like this, I thought they stop using them around 2007

Which is a viscous coupling, they are welded shut, but there are options

Electric/Hydraulic coupling

The later types I know nothing about
