Steve said:I was taking my son to school this morning and he died in heavy traffic, I now know what Jim was on about with the worst 90 seconds of his life... He seems to flood really easily when cold and takes 4 or 5 prolonged turns of the key and a lot of playing with the choke to get going again. Any ideas?
He is looking well.
Martin, I have a drivers headrest from a Panda with proper seats on the drivers side, it is just sitting there though, not much use in an accident but I don't like driving with no headrest. Jim has the other seats that were sent over for Splutter by Giacosa. I'm waiting on him digging them out of wherever they are. The passengers seat that is in him is useless. When you sit in it you are practically lying down.
Next month he's getting proper tyres rather than the ones on him at the minute. I think I'll be going for 165/70/13 tyres. He currently has 155/70/13 on the front and 155/70/13 on the rear which are terrible in the wet.
The fuel filter is a service item Martin, I tend to replace at every service. I think Splutter suffered from the amount of time he was laid up before I bought him this time last year.
why not pop over to Italy, there are thousands of them still going strong and lots of spares for the price of a pizza
I don't even want to know how Roger broke the seat. :bang:
