I treated Splutter to a good run in the country today followed by a bath and a hose down. He also got treated to a new Fiat badge on his boot.
He's looking good apart from his rusty doors and the missing bits and pieces that Jim is holding to ransom.

Martin, I have a drivers headrest from a Panda with proper seats on the drivers side, it is just sitting there though, not much use in an accident but I don't like driving with no headrest. Jim has the other seats that were sent over for Splutter by Giacosa. I'm waiting on him digging them out of wherever they are. The passengers seat that is in him is useless. When you sit in it you are practically lying down.
Next month he's getting proper tyres rather than the ones on him at the minute. I think I'll be going for 165/70/13 tyres. He currently has 155/70/13 on the front and 155/70/13 on the rear which are terrible in the wet.

Looks like somebody knows how to weld, just read this all the way through, nice to see anoter person keeping theirs on the road, thats the only car ive seen so far to date that i like with that fiat badge on the back, pands are the only ones that suit it! Keep all the good work up thats gone into building this car back to a dcent standard!

Cheers Jordan, it was Stuartl that did all the welding. Without help from him and Jim (e505jpy) and the encouragement from the other Panda owners on FF this car would have been scrapped long ago. It looked like a hopeless case at the start, but now he puts most other Pandas on the road to shame.

Oh yeah.... My mate roger broke the seat one night up at the Giants Ring
Ash blew up the Scooby and has been off work trying to get a gasket fitted and the other guy I work with got the crap beat out of him on New Years eve and has been off so I'm running Carphone Warehouse now and it's taking up a fair bit of time doing 3 peoples jobs Oh, BTW, some of them tires have been to morocco!!!!

Well, Steve got his seats, trim, and assorted bits and bobs from the outhouse yesterday so Splutter should be fully sorted shortly!

I fitted his seats today, the rear trim piece, the rear seat brackets and washed him again. The neighbours must think I'm obsessed... Then I decided to take a run over to Halfords and I bought him a sunstrip. I have no idea why.
Oh no Steve! Get the sunstrip off. Although it's not as bad as most...
